The power steering pump is a common reason your Ford Fusion might whine when accelerating. If it gets too low on fluid, it’ll whine a lot.Whining Noise was the CVT Transmission. The Transmission had to be replaced at 85K miles. Thank goodness Nissan has extended the transmission warranty on these models due to the obvious issues. I think they extended it 140K.
