Every baby is different so it would be impossible to guess.With my first I was 4cm dilated and 80%effaced for 2 weeks With this little guy I just had I was 2cm 60% at 36 week and 3cm60% at 37weeks 3days. They usually won't admit you until you're about 5 cm. As for early labor, my ob won't try to stop it after 35 weeks. It's good to let baby cook as long as possible but at 36 weeks there's a decent chance your baby will be okay. It all just depends on the baby!.
